Our crew is focused on being outdoors, being in the community, and serving.  We strive to give all of our youth the opportunities to learn, explore, and be outdoors.

Venturing Crew 2023 started on April 4, 2023. Our Venturing Crew focuses on the foundation of Youth lead Scouting where the Youth plan and lead the adventure. We are Chartered with Southwest Church of Christ at Bell and 45th in Amarillo Tx and meet every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month. We typically have one business meeting and one fun activity (check out our Calendar for event days). Crew 2023 a COED unit and is not associated with any other unit in the council and invite anyone from 14 through 21 to join us on our adventures. 

• $25 initial fee to join the crew, and a $25 fee every February. This goes into the general crew fund, and covers the patches as follows: Crew numbers, Rank patches, Venturing BSA shoulder patch, and Officer patches.

• $15 per class B (our T-shirts)

• Every member is expected to have a class B within 30 days of joining, and a class A, with patches sewn on, within 90 days.

• If you are already registered with another BSA unit, you do not have to pay the $85 national fee. However, if you are not an active member of BSA, you will have to pay the $85 national fee and the $25 crew fee.

• This is a youth-led crew. We are only limited by our imagination.
